Depends on your own usage and comfort, we have both 1.5 mm (1.6kg/ 3.56lbs) and 3.0 mm (2.2kg/ 4.9lbs). This really depends on your priorities: whether you like more cushion for your yoga practice or you prefer to carry a lighter yoga mat to the studio.
